Kavya Agrawal, the 10-year-old boy from Nagpur, has made it to record books as the youngest writer of ‘Bhagwad Geeta’. In his version titled ‘Kidtastic’, he has explained meaning of shlokas of ‘Bhagwad Geeta’, translated chapters in his own words, and has given ‘Kavya’s Learnings’ from each chapter. For this, Kavya Agrawal has received recognition from Asia Book of Records and India Book of Records. The book is available online. Addressing a press conference at Press Club here on Wednesday, Kavya said that he developed inclination towards knowing more and more about ‘Bhagwad Geeta’, at a very tender age.

Later, he attended workshop on ‘Bhagwad Geeta’, which inspired him to learn and recite Sanskrit shlokas and do research to unfold its various dimensions. The urge of knowing and exploring, and support of parents and grandparents encouraged him to attempt writing the book. Kavya carried Lord Krishna’s idol wherever he goes. For, he feels that he has developed a connect with the idol and that idol inspires him to do well in life. He has contributed in designing the book, has incorporated colourful pictures, stories of Lord Krishna, and colouring space keeping in mind the interest of kids who would read the book.

According to Kavya, ‘Bhagwad Geeta’ offers solutions to all problems faced by humans across the world. His parents Rashmi and Raj Agrawal, grandparents Mahesh and Meena Agrawal, Anita and Mahendra Agrawal have supported him in all his ventures.
