Science College, OFK and Navyug College teams won their matches on the inaugural day of Jaisen Bhagat memorial Inter Collegiate Cricket Tournament, on Wednesday. The tournament is being played as per the annual sports calendar of Madhya Pradesh Higher Education Department under the auspices of Government Science College. Inaugural match of the tournament was played between Government College Majholi and Government Science College teams. The match could not be completed due to untimely rains and Government Science College team was declared winner on the basis of run rate. In second match of the tournament, OFK College registered one-sided victory over Government College Panager by 10 wickets and entered in next round of the tournament. In the third match, Navyug College routed APN College team by 40-runs.

 

Special guest on the occasion was former MIC Member, Kamlesh Agrawal who took introduction from players and wished them for success in the tournament. During the match, Avdhesh Dubey, Harish Dubey, Sanjay Kumar, Dr. Jyoti Jungare, Dr. Shalini Yadav, Dr. Sunil Datt Lakhera, Onkar Dubey, Mahendra Mishra, Aasima Joseph, Dr. Ramesh Shukla and others were present. Umpires of the matches were Andrew Paul, Rahul Rajbhar and Ankit Patel. Today’s matches Government Mahakaushal College V/s St. Aloysius College, 8:30 am. Government College Sihora V/s Nachiketa College, 12 noon.
