‘Police Didi’ initiative to safeguard children and women: DCP Vinita S

 

 

 

Nagpur police and ESAF NGO conducted a workshop for children and women under ‘Police Didi’ initiative. The workshop was addressed by DCP Zone II Vinita S while ACP Sadar Madhuri Baviskar, WPI Vaijayanti Mandawdhare were present in the dais. DCP Vinita made the children and their parents aware about cyber security and sexual abuse. A press release informed that Children of Balajyoti Project and their parents from different locations were present in the programme.

 

DCP Vinita further explained ‘Police Didi’ concept to the audience and appealed the parents to immediately contact the police without any hesitation during the time of trouble. “The ‘Police Didi’ initiative will safeguard the children and women from crime,” she promised. Kunal Jadhav; State Coordinator Baljoyti and others were present in the programme. Students of Tirpude Collage of Social Work were also participated in the programme.
