Urban Development and Housing Minister Bhupendra Singh reviewed progress of projects at the Collectorate and directed that those affected from irrigation projects should be provided compensation as per guidelines. He directed that along with displacement process, all basic facilities should be provided. Beena, Banda and Hanota Projects would ensure irrigation facilities in Khurai, Beena, Maulthaun and Banda and drinking water facilities would also be available. This meeting was attended by MLA, Beena Mahesh Rai, Colelctor Deepak Rai, CEO, district panchayat Kshitij singhal. SDO, Sagar, Banda, Executive Engineer of all Projects and others officers. Minister Bhupendra Singh took up review of Hanota Irrigation Project and informed that this land would irrigate 40,000 hectare area. This project would affect 29 villages of Sagar and 30 villages of Vidisha district.
 
In Sagar , in village Mau private land in 18 villages and government land in 11 villages would be acquired. The total cost of this project is 584 crores. In this project, 600 crores have been ensured for land acquisition and award of Rs 40 crores has been issued. Minister Singh held discussion of problems of villagers of village Harsoli and Khajra village and directed officers for redressal. Minister directed for taking action on Section 11, Sec 19 and Section 21. Minister Singh directed that value of the trees, land of affected farmers should be estimated and compensation should be given to them as per the guidelines. Minister also took up review of the Beena Project and asked for payment of compensation to project affected people. Officers informed that at Beena Project, Madia dam and Chakarpur dam has been included. Executive Engineer informed that 268 MCM water from Madia dam and 73 MCM from Chakarpur dam, would be released. In Beena project, 90,000 hectare land would be irrigated in 305 villages.
