ISBM University, Chhura, Gariaband organised a two-day national-level workshop on December 3 and 4. The theme of the workshop was ‘analytic technique used in nanotechnology’. The Chief guest of the workshop was Dr N Pawan Kumar. Registrar Dr B P Bhol welcomed all the guests on the occasion. Dr Kumar threw lights on nanotechnology. Vice-Chancellor Dr Anand Mahalwar also addressed the workshop. The dean academics Dr N K Swamy correlated nanotechnology with shlokas of Ramayana.
The chief guest Dr Kumar explained usefulness of research. Dr Vikas Dubey delivered his lecture on ‘spectroscopic techniques used in nanotechnology’. Dr Arun Kumar Singh delivered his lecture on ‘nanotechnology in space’ and he explained how the nanotechnology and nano materials can be used in space to increase the strength and reduce the mass of the space and aerospace. Gokul Sahu and Dr Poonam Verma proposed a vote of thanks. Science Club President Faneesh Patel made Poster presentation. Dr Kumar delivered lecture on the relevance of nanotechnology in future and applied science on the second day of the workshop.
Swati D inaugurated the second day workshop. Dr Poonam Verma, Assistant Professor, ISBM University, gave her statement on Green Synthesis of Nano Particle, in which she told about making nanoparticle using fungus and bacteria. At the end of the programme R K Deshmukh, Head of the Faculty of Science, thanked the University and all the Governing Body members for the successful conduct of the programme.
