Aditi Verma received the medal for the ‘BEST ALOYSIAN’ while maximum five medals were received by Monish Dubey of BSc III year from Mathematics Group, during the Annual prize distribution ceremony for year 2019-20 batch of St Aloysius College held at Prerna Auditorium. The ceremony was enlightened by the presence of Justice Sanjay Yadav (former Chief Justice of Allahabad and Madhya Pradesh High Court) and guest of honour, Rt Rev. Bishop Gerald Almedia, (Chairman). The programme started with felicitation of guests. The Principal shared the College’s annual report. Bishop Almeida congratulated and motivated the students to continue with their excellent journey in future also. Finally, Justice Sanjay Yadav shared his experience when he was in college and also gave some life lessons and felicitated the students for their achievements.

 

Later on, the prize distribution ceremony held to present gold medals and certificates to the meritorious students of the college. Monish Dubey of BSc III year from Mathematics Group received maximum 05 medals, Yati Iyer from Bsc III (Bio Group) received 04 medals, Kokila Kanojiya from BA III year obtained 03 medals, Arya Naudhirya from Bcom III year received 03 medals, Pooja Bachwani from Bcom III year obtained 03 whereas, Aditi Verma from B.Com Hons. III year received 02 medals, respectively. In total 47 medals were distributed to the toppers. Simultaneously, the staff members who had completed 25 years of service in the institution were also felicitated. The recipients from teaching staff were Dr Kallol Das, Dr Mita Darbari, Dr Anjali Dsouza, Dr Elena Philp, Dr Carolin Saini and Dr Mandira Kar. Among non-teaching staff, Prakash Pawar, Anto Thatil, Saji Xavier were presented mementos. A book titled ‘Global Pandemic: Problems and Solutions’ edited by Rev. Dr G Vazhan Arasu, Dr Anjali D'souza, Dr Femina Sobin and Roshni Choubey, was released.
