Collector Dr S Bharathi Dasan convened an important meeting of Covid Task Force in view of increasing number of corona cases in district
 
 
District Collector Dr S Bharathi Dasan directed to work with proper planning and continuity for prevention of coronavirus at every level. He convened an important meeting of Covid Task Force in view of increasing number of corona cases in the district. Now, FIR under Regulation 14 of Covid-19 Regulation 2020 will be registered against the offenders and the responsibility of filing FIRs will be with the respective Incident Commander. Subordinate officers can be authorised by the Incident Commander.
 
The Collector said that all the Incident Commanders should work in the field to prevent the spread of Covid and the work of the Contact Tracing should be done effectively. The Collector expressed serious concern over people not serious about masks. He instructed to take strict action against such people who are not following the rules and orders State Government. He said that the guidelines of Home Isolation should be complied with. The Senior Superintendent of Police will ensure that strict legal action is taken against the persons who obstruct the Covid disaster management work under relevant laws.
 
Collector Dr S Bharathi Dasan also said that the Corona cases have increased in many states of the country and at the same time last year there was a rapid increase in the Corona cases and the number of cases is expected to increase in the coming time, so all the concerned officials take ppropriate action within time frame. The Collector appealed the citizens to follow the social distancing norms for prevention of Covid. Essentially use masks, maintain social distance and use sanitizers, said the Collector. The Collector asked all officers and employees involved in the work of ensuring prevention of coronavirus in the district and all the Incident Commander to pay personal attention to the active surveillance work and supervise and review it regularly. Senior Superintendent of Police Ajay Kumar Yadav, Raipur Municipal Corporation Commissioner Saurabh Kumar, Chief Executive Officer of District Panchayat Dr Gaurav Kumar Singh, along with all the Zone Commissioners, Incident Commander and concerned officer-employees of the Municipal Corporation were present in the meeting.
