City witnesses hot, humid weather

Hot and humid weather conditions were witnessed in the city Weather patterns have been disturbed in various districts of Madhya Pradesh since March 17. Now process of clearing weather is taking place. Weather has started to clear gradually as the winds change was recorded and sorting clouds will bring sunshine. This will cause day temperature to rise and night temperature are expected to fall. Western disturbance is currently active in Jammu and Kashmir. Another western disturbance lies over Afghanistan and adjoining Pakistan.
 
Due to this, an induced cyclone is over northwest Rajasthan. Also, an upper air cyclone is active over Vidarbha and adjoining Chhattisgarh. It is cloudy in some areas and thundershowers is also witnessed. Western disturbance near Pakistan is likely to move beyond North India. Due to this weather systems built over Rajasthan and Vidarbha will start to weaken and this will reduce humidity in atmosphere in coming weeks. On Thursday, Bhopal city recorded with maximum temperature at 35 degrees Celsius which was five degrees above normal and minimum temperature at 19 degrees Celsius which was one degree above normal temperature.
 
Wind velocity was recorded 16 kms per hour. Maximum temperature recorded at Indore was at 34(-2) degrees Celsius which was two degrees below normal and minimum temperature recorded at 18.8(+1) degrees Celsius. Jabalpur recorded maximum temperature at 35.5 (+1) degrees Celsius and minimum at 18.8(0) degrees Celsius. Gwalior recorded at 32.9(-1)degrees Celsius and minimum at 18.4(+2) degrees Celsius. Lowest minimum temperature recorded was 14 degrees Celsius at Malashkhand. Highest temperature recorded was at 39 degrees Celsius recorded at Khargone, Hoshangabad. Rainfall recorded at Satna) 0.6 mm, Raisen 0.4mm.
