The drama’ Tamsa Tat’ was staged under Gamak series at Ravindra Bhavan .On behalf of Kalidas Academy Ujjain, this presentation was done by Rang Parv Sanstha .The play which was directed by Rajendra Chavda, senior theatre artists of Ujjain. The play, written by Shiv Kumar Chavare, was based on Uttar Ramcharit. The story of ‘Tamsa Tat’ revolves around the part when Rama meets his sons in jungle after long time . Rama's mental conflict is visible on the one hand, and on the other side his care for Sita .In the ashram of Maharishi Valmiki, Sita is taking care of her sons Luv and Kush while battling with their isolation.
The sons are worried about the skilled mother. In the story, the meeting of father-sons through Ashwamedha Yajna and the horse left for him, is an important context for the education provided by Maharishi Valmiki to Lav and Kush. It also contains contexts relevant to Ram's Kaushalya, to dialogue and dream situations showing his mental anxiety. The cast did justice to their roles with the characters.
Variety of songs dance and other performance added to the attraction. The acting of stage artists Utkarsh Kadotiya as Ram, Garima Rahi as Sita, Laxman’s role was enacted by Yuvraj Chavda and other artists Ram Singh Tomar Vasistha, Pawan Love, Ashwin Kush were appreciated. Gamak festival is organised by the Department of Culture in collaboration with Madhya Pradesh Tribal Museum and Boli Vikas Academy.
