The Jabalpur Smart City Limited will start beautification work of Sangram Sagar Park adjoining the historic Sangram Sagar pond at a cost of Rs 4 crore. Executive Director of Smart City and Municipal Commissioner, Sandeep GR inspected Sangram Sagar Park and directed senior officials to initiate the works related to beautification soon. He stressed the need to start all the works as soon as possible while observing the drawing and design of the beautification work.

 

The Municipal Commissioner said Sangram Sagar is a historic and ancient pond of the city. To increase its importance, an action plan has been made to beautify Sangram Sagar Park adjacent to Sangram Sagar pond by smart city limited. He said Rs 4 crore will be spent on the beautification work. Sandeep GR has expressed hope that after completion of the beautification and renovation works of Sangram Sagar Park, it would prove to be a great achievement for the city where the citizens would have various means of entertainment, sports and recreation.

 

He asked senior officials concerned to keep a close watch on the beautification works of Sangram Sagar park and should not compromise on quality in any way. On the occasion, Executive Director of Smart City, Sandeep G R directed officials concerned to complete the beautification work of Sangram Sagar Park as per the set guidelines so that the people who come to the park can get a pleasant feeling of coming closer to Mother nature and environment. Those also present on the occasion were Executive Engineer Shivendra Singh, Garden Officer Aditya Shukla, Assistant Engineer Kavish Mishra and others.
