Government schools across State have started admission process of students for two academic sessions on Tuesday. Teachers are asked to remain present in schools from June 15 to 30 for processing the admission formalities. However, classes will continue via onilne mode till further notice. During admission process in schools, COVID protocols will be followed by teachers, staff and parents as well. Maximum 25 applicant students will be called on schools for admission confirmation in a slot.
 
Schools have been asked to ensure presence of maximum 5 students in a class. Admission process will be held via online mode and there is no decision over reopening of schools yet. Students and parents will be called for physical verification in school campus in limited number and online slot for the same will be released. Class-wise admission details have been displayed on walls and doors of schools to guide the parents and students. Online classes of students via Doordarshan has begun on June 15. Lectures will be provided to students as per schedule on Doordarshan channel. For class 12, educational programme will be telecast from morning 8 to 9 and for class X, educational programme will be telecast from 9.30 to 10.30 am.
 
Educational programme will be aired on channel from Monday to Friday. School Education Department said that Government does not want to take risk with lives of students. They said that schools would be reopened only after situation become normal. Government has also sought suggestion on reopening of schools via online mode. Link for suggestion has been provided on school education portal on June 2. Principals, teachers, institutes, parents, students and public are asked to provide their suggestion on reopening of schools by June 30.
