CM, Sharma appeal people to get vaccinated

On the eve of mega vaccination drive, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and BJP State President V D Sharma said that maximum people should get corona vaccination on Monday. They said that peril of pandemic has not gone yet, hence it is necessary to take all precautionary measures before arrival of third wave of corona. Speaking to the mediapersons at BJP office, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that mega vaccination drive will commence on International Yoga Day on Monday and in this connection, 7,000 vaccination centres have been made. There is a target of vaccinating more than 10 lakh people in a single day. He appealed people, social workers, elected representatives, workers of political parties to join the mega vaccination drive. He also thanked BJP and BJP State President VD Sharma for taking the responsibility in this regard.
 
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan added that danger has not gone and coronavirus is not finished yet. Possibilty of third corona wave is being apprehended after six to eight weeks of unlock. Henceforth, it is necessary to take every measure to control third corona wave timely. He appealed people that only effective measure to remain safe from third possible corona wave is to follow Covid protocol in a strict manner. There is also another effective measure and it is vaccination. He said that mega vaccination drive starting from June 21 is to save people of State and to provide protective cover to the masses. He also appealed that all social workers, all political parties and representatives of different sections of the society should come forward in this regard. “ We can provide security to people only through vaccination and there is no other big pious work than this,” he said.
 
He expressed hope that before arrival of third corona wave, large number of people will be vaccinated in the State. He asserted that vaccine is totally safe. BJP State President V D Sharma expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for taking decision to give free vaccine to people above 18 years of age. Praising the decision of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan to start mega vaccination drive at 7,000 vaccination centres and vaccinate more than 10 lakh people in a single day, he told that vaccination is must to save life. He told that BJP workers will help people by establishing help desk at vaccination centres. To ensure that as many as people should get vaccination, BJP workers will go among masses and spread awareness.
 
Every party worker will try to boost the mega vaccination drive. He also told that during training campaign of party, training was completed in 1,015 mandals out of 1,070 mandals. But owing to corona, party’s direct activities were hampered. He informed that on Sunday, national-level training session was started and it will continue regularly. On Sunday, one session was held under training campaign. BJP National President JP Nadda, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, national office-bearers of party organisation, Cabinet ministers took part in it. Along with this, BJP State Organisational General Secretary Suhash Bhagat, BJP General Secretary Bhagwan Das Sabnani etc also took part in it.
