Ministers discussing action plan for Adventure Park in Umrikheda during a meeting.

On the recommendations of State Water Resources Minister Tulsiram Silawat, Forest Minister Kuwar Vijay Shah and Tourism Minister Usha Thakur conducted a meeting on Wednesday regarding development of Ralamandal Wildlife Sanctuary, Indore and set up of Adventure Park in Umrikheda along with trekking. Minister Silawat said that directions have been already given to make work plan for development of eco-tourism park in Umrikheda. In the meeting officials said that Principal Secretary Forest Ashok Varnval will also be visiting Indore Umrikheda and Ralamandal areas along with the ministers. Minister Silawat said that all arrangements will be made there in Ralamandal as per rules.
He directed CCF and DFO to make a detailed work plan for the same. He also said to develop butterfly park and food zone in Ralamandal Sanctuary and add this proposal in its work plan. Minister Vijay Shah said there are several opportunities for eco tourism in Indore and Forest Department is working for the same. He said to finalise eco-tourism in Umrikheda, visit will be made on June 30. He said further discussion will be held for wildlife, luxury tent, cycle track and other facilities for tourists. He said for this proposal, work will be held on PPP mode. Tourism and Culture Minister said that night safari in Ralamandal Sanctuary will be attracting tourists. He also suggested that there are tourism opportunities in Mhow.
