SHRI Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management (RCOEM) that has earned its name and fame in this region is ranked 20th among top 200 engineering colleges. RCOEM has maintained its rank that it got in 2020. Last year, too, it secured 20th place.

 

In Maharashtra, RCOEM earned fifth slot among private engineering colleges. It stood first in Vidarbha. The ranking was done by India Today. Several colleges of Vidarbha of different streams have figured in the India Today Ranking this year. Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technoloyg (VNIT) has secured 16th rank among Government engineering colleges while last year its rank was 18. It means there is a rise by two places. G H Raisoni College of Engineering, YCCE both have witnessed improvement in ranking they earned last year. Tulsiram Gaikwad-Patil College of Engineering and Technology secured 212th place. Sardar Patel Mahavidyalaya of Chandrapur too has witnessed rise in its ranking though slightly.

 

Bajaj College of Science of Wardha in the category of Science, whose rank was 78 last year, has secured 84th place this year. Sardar Patel College too has experienced fall in its rank from 78 to 94. One more college from Vidarbha, Dnyanesh Mahavidyalaya, Nawargaon, Chandrapur in Science stream though did not get any rank as it did not participate, stood among top 150. Govindram Seksaria College of Commerce,Wardha whose rank was 142 last year has come down to 173.

 

Government Dental College and Hospital secured 12th place in India. Sharad Pawar Dental College affiliated to Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences University, Sawangi, Wardha figured among top private dental colleges. In Architecture category, Smt Manoramabai Mundle College of Architecture has earned 32nd rank among architecture institutes while Priyadarshini Institute of Architecture and Design Studies and IDEAS- Institute of Design Education and Architecture Studies all have figured in this category. Orange City College of Social Work of Nagpur figured among top Social Work colleges. IDEAS also figured in the list of private colleges those charge lowest fees. Sardar Patel College, Chandrapur also got place among top 10 colleges offering with best value for money. Same college figures in the category of ‘10 colleges with lowest fees’ along with Orange City College of Social Work. Sardar Patel Mahavidyalya, Chandrapur has also figured in the top colleges imparting Arts education. In fact it has improved its rank by five places. last year it ranked 58. This year it has improved itself to and secured 53rd
