The Indian Institute of Management Nagpur (IIMN) has been awarded the Top Institute of India Award 2021 by Competition Success Review (CSR) – India’s premier current affairs and career publication. The award is given to leading educational institutions to felicitate their commitment to excellence in the higher and professional education, and honours the leaders of award-winning institutions. For IIM Nagpur, the award comes as an acknowledgment of its fast-paced growth in the past year, under the leadership of Dr Bhimaraya Metri, Director, IIM, Nagpur. IIM Nagpur has started a number of long and short-term programmes – PhD, PG Certificate Programmes for Working Executives, MBA for Working Professionals - to cater to different demographics in addition to its flagship MBA programme.

 

The Institute is the first among third-generation IIMs to gear up to move into its own permanent campus soon. IIM Nagpur is also planning to start MBA for Working Professionals in Pune and Hyderabad, in addition to the Nagpur campus, in the current academic year. The entrepreneurship incubator at IIM Nagpur, InFED, is also carving a niche in the startup ecosystem of Central India, having incubated over forty women-led startups so far. Receiving the award for IIM Nagpur, Dr Bhimaraya Metri said, “This recognition is the result of the hard work and dedication of the IIM Nagpur faculty members, staff and alumni. It is an inspiration to the entire IIMN community to work even harder to achieve our aims.”
