POPULAR Stand-up comedian Krushna Abhishek had a courtesy call on Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel at his residence-based office here on Wednesday. The comedian detailed Chief Minister on shooting schedule of his forthcoming feature film in the State. In his interaction with the Chief Minister, Stand-up Comedian Krishna Abhishek informed that the shooting of his next feature film ‘Shriman Aishwarya Rai’ is scheduled for 10n days in the state from August 25. Shreyash Talpade and Kiku Sharda will be the lead artists of the film. The shooting of some episodes of OMG India Programme in Chhattisgarh is also being planned. he added.
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel was delighted over the shooting of film in the state and assured of all possible help for the production of film in the state. He said that the State Government is preparing new film policy which will have the provision for promoting production of feature films in the state. The artist from Chhattisgarh have good talent and the objective of the new film policy will be to promote the local artists.
The state has beautiful locations for shooting of films from Surguja to Bastar which can be showcased through films. With air services available at Raipur, Jagdalpur and Bilaspur, the film production activities will get a major boost, he added. Vikki Malhotra, Rikki Malhotra, Navin Rathore, Bhojraj Navani, Pranit Sundrani, Rishu Hora and Shiv Vishwakarma were also present on the occasion.
