Shaheed Samman Samiti, on Sunday, felicitated SHO Madan Mahal Police Station, Neeraj Varma with the ‘Utkrisht Seva Alankaran’ Award. Senior office bearers of the Samiti said since 2011 they have been honoring such people who have been discharging their duties with full dedication and sincerity and have done such an excellent work which has added to the pride of the nation and the State. They have been felicitating such people with “Rashtra Gaurav”, “Pradesh Gaurav” and “Utkrisht Seva Alankaran.

 

They said the award has been given to SHO Varma for his excellent services. He and his team recently exposed a gang of people attempting fraud under the guise of Journalists in the district. They didn’t only catch them but also arrested and exposed a big gang of fake journalists. The Madan Mahal Police did a great job before the gang has let down the name of media. President of the Samiti Amit Khampariya, Dinesh Preet, Dr. Arun Mishra, Yaduvansh Mishra, Dhananjay Vajpayee and others were present honored SHO Neeraj Varma with the award. On the occasion Khampariya said that the campaign which was being run by the SP against those who commit fraud in the name of media has awakened the respect of the police in the eyes of common man.
