An all women delegation of Salute Tiranga organisation congratulated Commissioner of Police (CP) Amitesh Kumar for shutting down the illegal prostitution business in Ganga-Jamuna area and urged him to initiate stern action against pimps who are forcing minors into the flesh trade. The delegation, led by Maharashtra Women President Dimpy Bajaj, met the CP on Monday and appreciate the action. Bajaj told the CP that the police action was resulted into safeguarding of women from sexual and mental harassment who were forced into the flesh trade. The delegation further thanked the Police Commissioner for giving much awaited relief to the residents of nearby areas of Ganga-Jamuna who were facing nuisance on regular basis.
 
The members of the delegation also extended their support to the police for cracking down on the flesh trade rackets operating in the posh localities with reference of busting of a sex racket in a flat near Medical square on Saturday. A minor girl was rescued by the police during the action. Archana Hiwse, Himanshi Chandwani, Kusum Kukreja, Sarita Mishra, Preeti Jain, Trishna Jagtap and others were part of the delegation.
