A total of 47 students were selected in the one-day Plcement Drive organised under joint banner of Swami Vivekanand Career Guidance Scheme, Government Mahakoshal Arts and Commerce College and CII Model Career Centre Jabalpur at the Hindi Department of the college on Tuesday. The representatives from PayTM Service Private Limited, Crisper Delivery, Coca Cola, Pepsi, Pine App, Morris Garages Showroom and Renault Showroom companies interviewed 169 students for the posts of sales executive, delivery boy, telecaller and senior accountant. Out of 169 students, 47 were selected for various posts. Professor Arun Shukla from Swami Vivekanand Career Guidance Scheme informed that placement forms an integral part of the student’s college education as it equips the students with the relevant and conceptualised professional knowledge that are important for building a bright career in the future.
The one-day placement drive was successfully organised following COVID-19 protocols to restrain further spread of infection. Professor Shukla further added that such placements enhance the employability of the students and prepare them for future careers along with the life skills that are needed to excel in the journey of life. Moreover, campus placement activities help students identify the missing skills that are essentially important for building self-confidence and the right attitude in the students The placement drive was conducted successfully with the support of Chandrajeet Singh, Head, Madhya Pradesh CII Model Career Centre Jabalpur and Amit Dubey, Mobiliser, Jabalpur, Dr Sumit Pasi, Neelima and others.
