Skill India Training commences for drop-out students in city

Skill India Training was started for the drop-out students at the Government Maharani Laxmi Bai Girls’ Higher Secondary School from Monday. Addressing the programme, Principal, MLB School, Prabha Mishra said that the participants will also receive certificate once the training programme completes. The training will be free of cost while the candidates aged between 15 and 29 years can register themselves for the same. It may be mentioned that Skill India training initiated at seven schools in the district from the new year.
 
These seven schools including Government MLB Girls' Higher Secondary School, Government Higher Secondary School, Adhartal, Government Higher Secondary School Barela, Excellent Higher Secondary School Patan, Higher Secondary School Gandhigram, Rani Durgavati Girls’ Higher Secondary School and Government Girls' Panagar, have been registered on the portal of Skill India. The project is being supported by National Skill Development Corporation. Simultaneously, BTP will also render required support to the skill hub centers in form of prospectus, training programme and other technical support. The participants will be offered with six-months free training for the job role of sales associate, junior software developer, general duty assistant, field technician, electronics, healthcare, retail and other. Main objective behind the programme is to connect unemployed youth with job opportunities by imparting them required training. This will help to fulfill the targets of Atmanirbhar Bharat. Others who were present included Dr Sandhya Jain, Monika Tiwari, Sangeeta Rai, Prashi Tiwari, Monika Babele, Archana Pathak, Samita Jaggi and other teachers.
