Live telecast of the inauguration ceremony of Mahakal Lok was displayed on big screens along with religious rituals in all 16 Mandals of the city, on Tuesday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the much-awaited Mahakal Lok in Ujjain, the city of Mahakal. The BJP had made arrangement of live telecast of the programme in all mandals of Jabalpur. Saints, public representatives, party office bearers and general public saw the inauguration ceremony live.

Speaking on the occasion, BJP leaders said it is a moment of pride for entire Madhya Pradesh including Sanskardhani that Mahakal Lok has been developed in Ujjain. They said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has inaugurated it and people have seen the inauguration programme live. BJP leaders said the main programme of Jabalpur district was organised at Umaghat Gwarighat under Narmada Mandal. Along with that cleanliness drive was organised in different Mandals and special worship was performed in temples including Mayur Kala Mandir, Sharda Mandir, Mahakal Mandir, Gorakhpur Gurdwara, Shiv Shakti Mandir, Badi Khermai, Ram Janaki Mandir, Sapteshwar Ganesh Mandir, Durga Mandir, Sadar Kali Mandir, Gautam Madhiya Hanuman Mandir, Ranchi Radha Krishna Mandir. The main programme was started with lighting of lamp at the banks of river Narmada in Gwarighat. A number of party leaders and workers were present on the occasion.
