Nilesh Khobragade got the better of Pratyush Dandekar, while Sumedh Meshram beat Aniket Moundekar to move up in the ongoing Rahul Pund Memorial Snooker Tournament at Engage Snooker Club, Gandhinagar on Friday.

Khobragade defeated Dandekar 2-1 while Mesram fought out hard to beat Moundekar 2-1.

Mesram bounced back from one frame down to win consecutive frames and match 2-1 against Moundekar.

Jaswinder Singh blanked Manoj Mohanani 2-0 in a one-sided match. Jaswinder, who was trailing by 24 points in the first frame, quickly gathered himself up to win the first frame on the black ball. In the 2nd frame, he scored important points at start to maintain a good lead to win the match on the pink ball.
