District Collector Avinash Lavania reviewed the preparations for the Agniveer Recruitment Rally on Wednesday. Brigadier Regani George and Colonel S Bakuri of the Army were also present on the occasion. The Collector has instructed all the officers that due to Diwali, all the preparations for Agniveer recruitment at Motilal Nehru Stadium should be completed by October 22. He said that the officials of the municipal corporation and other departments should also take action for the cleanliness of the ground. He directed the officials of the Electricity Department to install a generator for light backup. Buses should be arranged by the municipal corporation and RTO for the return of the youth coming for recruitment. Collector Lavania informed that for the convenience of the youth coming for recruitment, help centres are being set up at bus stands and stations. Officers will be present here 24 hours. Collector Lavania informed that army recruitment will start in Bhopal from October 27 which will continue till November 7. Candidates from Bhopal, Betul, Chhindwara, Hoshangabad, Harda, Rajgarh, Raisen, Sehore and Vidisha can participate in the recruitment, apart from this, the youth of any other district will not get a chance in this recruitment.
The Director of Army Recruitment, Colonel S Bakuri said that only those candidates who have got the admit cards will be given admission for the recruitment. Apart from this, no other person will be allowed to enter the recruitment ground. If someone had submitted the online form and did not get the admit card, then they will also not be allowed to enter the recruitment process. SDM, Tehsildar, police officers and officers of other departments were also present in the meeting organised at the Collectorate office.
Collector Lavania informed that instructions have been given to set up stalls for food and snacks at the recruitment ground, apart from this, arrangements for mobile toilets and drinking water will also be there. Instructions have also been given to the health officer to keep medical arrangements and ambulances to deal with the emergency.
