Madhya Pradesh under Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana has received appreciation at the national-level for providing maximum benefits to the farmers by making better use of technology. The State is top in benefiting the farmers under the scheme. Appreciating the innovation done by Madhya Pradesh to benefit the farmers from the scheme, the Central Government has given a certificate of excellence. In the 8th National Review Conference in Kochi (Kerala), the Director Agriculture Preeti Maithil Nayak received the award on behalf of the State Government. Director Agriculture informed that the State Government has done innovative experiments to ensure transparency in the enrollment and claim process in the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana. Innovative work of integrating land records with NCIP portal, making the portal convenient for farmers. Farmers have gone ahead and enrolled to take advantage of the scheme.
