Equal status to women in society due to BJP: Shivraj Singh Chouhan

The opening session of the regional convention of Bharatiya Janata Party Mahila Morcha was inaugurated on Wednesday by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and State President Vishnudutt Sharma. In the third session, Regional Organisation General Secretary Ajay Jamwal and in the fourth session, State Organisation General Secretary, Hitanand addressed the party workers. State President of Mahila Morcha, Maya Naroliya welcomed the guests. BJP government working from birth to marriage of girl child: Chouhan: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that BJP has implemented many schemes for the uplift of women and worked to take them forward. There was a time when women had to live in many shackles. Due to various types of malpractices, women were not able to progress.
Chouhan said that at present, women are being given place in the political sector as well as Government jobs through reservation. He said that earlier when a girl child was born, the family felt a burden, but now we have made so many plans that the BJP Government of Madhya Pradesh is doing the work from her birth till her marriage. He said that Madhya Pradesh is a state where in 87 cases of rape, the accused have been sentenced to death.
BJP is an organisation built on the basis of sacrifice: Sharma On the occasion of inauguration in the first session, State President Vishnudutt Sharma expressed his views on the topic ‘Bharatiya Janata Party History and Development’. He said that the BJP is the largest political party in the world. The party is working in the social and political field through different fronts. The role of Mahila Morcha is important in that. In independent India, the government of the country had made a provision to make ‘Do Nishan’, ‘Do Pradhan’ which was opposed by our mentor Dr. Syamaprasad Mukherjee and due to political differences, Jana Sangh was established. Dr Shyamaprasad Mukherjee sacrificed his life in this movement. BJP is an organisation built on the basis of sacrifice. Describing the history of BJP from the inception of Jana Sangh to today, he said that the BJP is at the peak of its popularity today only by following the principles of ‘Ekatma Manavvad’ and ‘Antyodaya’.
On this occasion, Rajya Sabha MP and Morcha’s state in-charge Darshana Singh, party national secretary Aishwarya Biswas, state government minister Usha Thakur, Mahila Morcha state in-charge Seema Singh, training in-charge Vijay Dubey, Morcha Vice President Dr Nandni Pathak, MLA Gayatriraje Panwar, Krishna Gaur, District President Rajiv Khandelwal, Morcha General Secretary Maya Patel, Mayor Geeta Agrawal were present prominently.
