Now, Jungle Safari is being starting on December 6 at Ratapani Sanctuary in which tourists will be able to enjoy Jungle Safari from December 7. This is the only sanctuary in the country in which Jungle Safari is being started. At present, tourists will be able to do safari only from Jhiri and Delabari side. At present, Safari will start in the sanctuary with 8 electric vehicles. In which 6 vehicles have been deployed towards Jhiri and 2 vehicles towards Delabari.
As the number of tourists would increase the number of vehicles will be increased. Safari time will start from 6 am. Booking of tourists will be done on the basis ‘Pahle Aao Pahle Pao’.
Vijay Kumar, DFO of Obaidullaganj Forest Division, said that a 40 km track has been made from Jhiri to Karmai and 20 km from Delawadi Gate. Initially, for safari, tourists will have to take tickets from the gate. Online booking for Ratapani Sanctuary will be possible after December 15. For jungle safari, tourists will be charged Rs 4,300. In which Rs 700 fee, Rs 400 guide fee along with Rs 3,200 vehicle fee will have to be paid.
