Meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Core Group was held in the State office on Tuesday. Giving information about the proceedings of this meeting to the media, the party’s State President and MP Vishnu Dutt Sharma said that in the meeting, the strength of the booth and the outline of the new campaigns to be taken by the party were discussed. The State President also informed the media about the changes made in the charge of the divisional in-charges of BJP.

Sharma said that core group meetings are organised from time-to-time to review and update the organisational functioning. “We had discussed these issues in the Ratapani meeting also and today’s meeting has also been organised in the same line.” Giving information about the major topics that came up in the meeting, Sharma said that the Election Commission is soon going to start a campaign to add the names of new voters to the voter list. In this campaign, how the Yuva Morcha of the party can work in collaboration with the Election Commission to engage the young voters. Sharma informed, “Our Government has started many public friendly schemes including Ladli Laxmi. How to take these schemes to the booth-level and how to establish contact and dialogue with the beneficiaries of these schemes was considered.” He said that recently we had launched a campaign for digitisation of booths in the entire State. How to update the work of that digitisation, how to make the scheme of booth empowerment more effective and how to reach 51 per cent vote share of the party at each booth, these issues were also discussed in the meeting.

Change in charge of Divisional In-charges Sharma said that the party keeps on changing its structure as per the requirements of the organisation. From the point of view of organisational work, the party has made changes in the charge of the divisional in-charges. According to this, State General Secretary Kavita Patidar will be In-charge of Jabalpur division, Sardendu Tiwari will be In-charge of Shahdol division and Harishankar Khatik will be In-charge of Chambal division. State Vice-President Alok Sharma will be In-charge of Ujjain division while Kantdev Singh will be In-charge of Bhopal division.
