Pension Adalat: Plaints of pensioners listened, redressed on-the-spot

Following old tradition, Pension Adalat was organised under the chairmanship of Divisional Railway Manager, Vivek Sheel at DRM Office on Thursday.
A total of 132 complaints were tabled during Pension Adalat. Immediate action was taken on 124 cases while pension were paid in 41 cases through NEFT. 03 pension revision, 18 cases concerned with MFA, banks were approached in 25 cases while 37 cases were answered during the adalat. A total of Rs 12.12 lakh were paid during the adalat.
The complaints of all the pensioners were listened and redressed on the spot. President, Pensioner Association, Mohanlal Virha, SC Chourasia, Tulsi Prasad Shukla and other representatives of pensioners and nationalized banks were present.
It may be mentioned that with the objective to ensure immediate redressal of complaints of retired/ departed employees, Jabalpur Division of West Central Railway had organized its first Pension Adalat on October 9, 1986.
Additional DRM, Deepak Kumar Gupta, Senior Divisional Personnel Officer, Subodh Vishwakarma, Senior Divisional Finance Manager, Yashwant Kumar, Divisional Personnel Officer, Sanjay Kumar, Assistant Personnel Officer (Welfare), Arvind Pandey and other officers were present.
