South East Central Railway (SECR) got the gift of Vande Bharat Express just three days back and on the third day after the inauguration, the glass of Vande Bharat was broken due to stone pelting by some mischievous and unidentified element.

It is to be informed that some unidentified miscreants have pelted stone on the newly-launched Vande Bharat Express train. The incident occurred when Vande Bharat Express coming from Nagpur towards Bilaspur was pelted with stones

near Durg-Bhilai. The RPF team is engaged in the investigation of the matter. As per information, after leaving Durg Station on Wednesday, the Vande Bharat train number 20826 was crossing Bhilai station at 6:15 pm when some unidentified antisocial elements pelted stones on the train that hit seat number 1, 2 glass of E 1 coach and broke it. As soon as the information was received, there was a stir in the railway department and when the train reached Raipur, the officials of the railway department immediately reached the coach and after talking to the passengers in the train, it was sent to Bilaspur where the glass was repaired. The Railway PRO of SECR, Vipin Vaishnav told that on Wednesday evening when Vande Bharat train was passing between Durg-Bhilai, some unidentified miscreants threw stone at the train, due to which the glass of E-1 coach was broken, action has been initiated by RPF in this regard and said train has been repaired in Bilaspur.
