The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) of Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management (RCOEM), Nagpur, in association with National Sun Yat-sen University (NSYSU), Taiwan and knowledge partner Tech Mahindra, organised the 2nd International Conference on Intelligent Systems, Data Science and Cyber Security (ICIDC-2022) on December 16 and 17. ICIDC-2022 aims to bring together researchers in the field of data science, cyber security, machine vision, robotics and smart systems to exchange their latest achievements and discuss the future development in these areas. The inaugural function was held on Friday. It commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp ceremony.
Dr Sanjay Kumar Singh, Professor and HoD(CSE), IIT(BHU) graced the occasion as the chief guest. The welcome address was delivered by the General Chair Dr Avinash Agrawal, Associate Professor and HoD (CSE), followed by the address of chair Dr M B Chandak, Professor (CSE) and Dean Academics, RCOEM. Dr Katherine Shu-Min Li, Conference Chair, Professor, NSYSU, Taiwan, addressed the inaugural virtually. She emphasized on the significance of artificial intelligence and deep learning in recent times. Dr Shailendra Aote, Assistant Professor (CSE) and Conference Chair introduced the chief guest followed by his felicitation at the hands of Dr Rajesh Pande, Principal, RCOEM. Dr Sanjay Singh briefed the gathering about the importance of transition of the world from an agrarian lifestyle to a major technological revolution. The presidential address was delivered by Dr Rajesh Pande. Dr Sanjay Singh delivered a key note address. Dr Praful Pardhi, Assistant Professor (CSE) and Conference Chair proposed the vote of thanks. The event was hosted by Dr Vasundhara Rathod, Assistant Professor (CSE). The two days of ICIDC-2022 are lined up with keynote sessions and presentations by the delegates.
