The grand event of Police Samman Samaroh 'Josh' 2022-23 held at Manas Bhavan the other day. The programme was organised under the aegis of Sahyog Yuva Samiti and under the directions of police administration, district administration and Jabalpur Municipal Corporation.

Chief guest on the occasion was Union Minister of State for Food Processing Industries and Jal Shakti Prahlad Singh Patel while Mayor Jagad Bahadur Singh Annu was present as First Person of the city. Special guests were MLA Vinay Saxena, Indira Gandhi National Arts Centre Trust Member Alok Jain, Superintendent of Police Siddharth Bahuguna and Acharya Jagendra Singh President Patan City Panchayat. The programme commenced with lighting lamp, worshipping goddess Saraswati and singing national anthem. Thereafter, selected male and female Police Inspector, Chief Inspector, Thana Incharge, Additional Police Superintendent and City Police Inspectors were felicitated.

Addressing the event, Union Minister Prahlad Singh Patel praised the efforts of police officers for maintaining law and order in the city. He also spoke about importance of police in establishing special coordination with the society. Later, artists from various cultural groups presented cultural dance performances.
