A day ahead of Valentine’s Day, Shiv Sena workers worshipped the sticks ‘Lath’ at a local temple situated near Nutan College on Sunday. Shiv Sena made it clear that in the name of love, obscenity will not be tolerated at any cost and lesson will be taught to such couples by solemnising their marriage (forcefully). During the worship of sticks (Lath Pooja) at temple, Shiv Sena District President Kuldeep Tiwari, Santosh Yadav, Yogesh Sharma, Sujit Verma and others were also present. In the press release, Shiv Sena unit said that Pulwama attack had happened on February 14 and in this attack, Indian Soldiers got martyred.
Trying to speak about Valentine’s Day falling on the same day, Shiv Sena workers said that in such a scenario, insult of martyrs will not be tolerated. Along with this, obscenity in the name of love will also not be tolerated. Deepak Sharma said that Shiv Sena is fully prepared and if any couple is caught in obscene manner then marriage of it (couple) will be performed. Talking to ‘The Hitavada’, Shiv Sena District President Kuldeep Tiwari said that Shiv Sena workers will go to parks, pubs and hookah lounges on Valentine Day. If any couple is found spreading obscenity in the name of love then their marriage will be solemnised. “If you do love each other then what is the problem in getting married,” he quipped. As happens every time, police is geared up to deal with any kind of untoward situation on Valentine’s Day. Cops would be keeping a close eye on every kind of situation and will not allow anyone to take law into their hand.
