NTPC Mouda is successfully fulfilling its corporate social responsibility (CSR) along with being a leader in power generation. Ever since the establishment of Mouda Super Thermal Power Station, many steps have been taken for the development of the surrounding villages, which has helped farmers, women to become self-reliant and helped students for a better education. Recently a toilet complex has been handed over to Zilla Parishad School Ajangaon by NTPC Mouda and 4 community toilets have also been given to Isapur, Navegaon and Mouda police station. In the year 2021-22, training on modern farming techniques was conducted by NTPC Mouda for about 400 farmers. Under this, farmers were made aware of the methods of increasing their yield, making bio-culture and practicing efficient farming through field visits and demonstration.

 

Water ATMs have also been set up in Kumbhari, Isapur, Ajangaon, Korad, Lapka and Navegaon to solve the problem of clean drinking water during the summer season. For the safety of school going students, boundary walls have been constructed in Isapur, Navegaon and Khandala Anganwadi. In order to provide education to the students with modern techniques, digital classroom facilities were provided in 7 Zilla Parishad. Teachers were also trained for the use of this technology. After using this technique, 100% attendance of students has been found in schools. NTPC Mouda will continue to work for the betterment of the nearby villages.
