2 MP Girls’ Battalion NCC Camp for ‘B’ certificate concludes

The five-day-long annual 2 Madhya Pradesh Girls’ Battalion NCC Camp for ‘B’ certificate concluded the other day. The camp was conducted under the guidance of Commandant Colonel, Maqsood Ali Khan. In the five-days camp, cadets were informed about different activities of army and parade. Followed by the NCC examination for B certificate, the cadets were also informed about health and hygiene, map reading, weapon drill firing and social health service works. Later, in the concluding day, Camp Commandant distributed prizes amongst the cadets for securing first three positions in the competitions.
 
In the second session of the event, cadets also presented cultural activities including dance, folk songs, street plays and patriotic songs It may also be noted that two cadets represented this unit in the Republic Day Parade 2022. One of these cadets Anushree Shrivastava of St. Aloysius College was felicitated with shawl and shreefal. Her mother Anupama Shrivastava received this award. Dignitaries including ANO, PI, staff, GCI and civil staff extended special support during the event.
