The draught has finally ended. After two days of goalless draws, the JSW Super Division League finally had a winner. Nagpur City Football Club edged past State Reserve Police Force (SRPF) to become the first team to log three full points on the third day of the competition. In the last couple of days, IFFC Chankapur played out a 0-0 draw with AGRC and Eleven Star shared the spoils with Taj Sporting. However, the deadlock was broken on Wednesday when Nagpur City beat SRPF in the Group B encounter. Mohammad Faizan (22nd) put Nagpur City ahead with a fine goal but SRPF came back in the came four minutes before half-time with Shahnawaz Sheikh scoring the equaliser. But it was Nagpur City who walked away with full three points after Mohammad Danish scored a goal in the 84th minute of play.
 
In Senior Division, Al Fateh rode on Mohd Faizan Ansari’s solitary goal to beat Orange City Club 1-0. The all important goal was scored in the 12th minute of play. In the second match of the morning, Hansraj Football Club managed to hold Gouhar FC at 1-1. Dhruv (68th) levelled the score for Hansraj after Ashkeem Baig (19th) had put Gouhar ahead. On Thursday: Senior Division: Nagpur Star FC vs Veer FC (11 am); Young Boys FC vs Ansari FC (1 pm). Super Division: Eagle Sports vs SECR (2.30 pm)
