Ngp branch of WICASA gets ‘Best Branch’ award

The Nagpur branch of Western India Chartered Accountants Student Association (WICASA) of Western India Regional Council (WIRC) of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) was recently won the ‘Best Branch of WICASA’ award for the year 2021-22 amongst 36 branches of WICASA of WIRC of ICAI. The award was given by the then President of ICAI, CA Nihar Jambusaria in presence of CA Manish Gadia, Chairman WIRC; CA Drusti Desai, Vice Chairperson, WIRC, CA Arpit Kabra, Secretary, WIRC, CA Jayesh Kala, Treasurer, WIRC and CA Yashwant Kasar, WICASA Chairman, WIRC at ICAI Bhawan, BKC Auditorium, Mumbai.
 
The WICASA team was led by CA Jiten Saglani, under whose chairmanship various physical and virtual events, seminars and programmes were organised. The Nagpur Branch of WICASA conducted various student centric programmes. During the year academic and study circle sessions, recreational and spiritual sessions, indoor and outdoor sports meet, industrial visits, training workshops, revisionary and mock test series, CA students’ conference and various other events were organised. “A moment to cherish and relish” said CA Saket Bagdia, Chairman, Nagpur Branch as he complimented innovative ideas of WICASA Chairman CA Jiten Saglani and Team WICASA for working on all round development of CA Students.
 
He appealed all CA students to participate in WICASA events. “It’s a feeling of pride and privilege” remarked CA Jiten Saglani, Chairman, WICASA Nagpur, while recognising efforts of Team WICASA comprising Ameya Soman - Vice-Chairman, Aviral Barange – Secretary, Radhika Taneja – Treasurer, Karan Agarwal – Joint Secretary, Ravina Tayade – Joint Editor, Karan Tajne – Joint Editor and Parag Jain – Executive Member. He expressed his gratitude to CA Saket Bagdia, Chairman, Nagpur Branch, CA Abhijit Kelkar, Regional Council Member and all Managing Committee Members of the branch for encouraging and supporting the initiatives of WICASA. He also thanked for the support and cooperation received from students for making every event successful.
