State transfers nine IAS officers; Limaye new Addl CS (Home)

 

 

 

State Government, on Wednesday, transferred nine Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers. Dr Sanjay Chahande, IAS officer of 1988 batch, has been posted as Additional Chief Secretary (AR&OM), General Administration Department. A M Limaye, IAS officer of 1989 batch and Additional Chief Secretary (A&S), has been posted as Additional Chief Secretary (Home). Limaye had previously served at Nagpur as Divisional Commissioner, Vice-Chancellor of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Chairman of Vidarbha Statutory Development Board, and also Chairman of Nagpur Flying Club. S A Tagade, IAS officer of 1991 batch, has been posted as Principal Secretary (A&S), Home Department.

 

He, too, had served at Nagpur. Abha Shukla, IAS officer of 1993 batch and Principal Secretary (IT), has been posted as Principal Secretary, Social Justice and Special Assistance Department. Dr Amit Saini, IAS (2007) and Chief Executive Officer of MMB, Mumbai, has been posted as Joint Secretary, Chief Secretary, Mantralaya, Mumbai. Dr Saini had served at Nagpur as CEO of Zilla Parishad. R S Jagtap, IAS (2008) and Commissioner, State Common Entrance Exam Cell, has been posted as Director General of Maharashtra Energy Development Agency, Pune. Vivek Bhimanwar, IAS (2009) and Joint Secretary (IT), is new Managing Director of Maharashtra State Horticulture and Drugs Plant, Pune. Rahul Dwivedi, IAS (2010) and Project Director, Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan, is new Joint Commissioner, Sales Tax, Mumbai. Gangatharan D, IAS (2013) and Deputy Secretary, Chief Secretary, is new Collector of Nashik.
