With more than 200 students, MP Students’ Union staged dharna at Rani Durgavati University on Thursday. These students under the leadership of President, Abhishek Pandey handed over a three-point demand addressing to the Madhya Pradesh Governor to the representative of the Vice-Chancellor. Through the memorandum, Students’ Union members highlighted over the alleged irregularities committed in the DET Examination promoting favoritism to benefit selected few candidates.
They also demanded for immediate release of scholarship which was still pending since last 2 years. The members further alleged that appointment of Vinod Jhaloriya on the post of Deputy Engineer in the University was completely illegal. Jharoriya who was earlier posted as draftman, was later posted as Deputy Engineer without any experience. The University administration accepted the memorandum and assured to take strong action on these issues within four official days. Others who present included Jatin Kanoujiya, Naman Kesharwani, Shivanshu Awasthy, Shashwat Pachouri and others.
