DELHI Public School (DPS) Lava will be launching its pre-primary school at Civil Lines. The pre-primary branch will nurture the young learners confidence, curiosity, creativity and compassion and spread the joy of learning.

To celebrate the occasion, there will be official ribbon cutting ceremony on March 13 at 10.30 am. Amitesh Kumar, Commissioner of Police, Nagpur will be the chief guest. Gautam Rajgarhia, Pro VC DPS Lava, Nashik and Varanasi, Ashok Agarwala, Trustee DPS Lava and other dignitaries will be present to shower their blessings and best wishes.

The pre-school is centrally located at Civil Lines across the road from the Collector’s office.

Despite being in the heart of the city the campus is spread over 25,000 square feet and is lush green. It boasts of a fully furnished Montessori Lab equipped with an array of educational equipment and toys. The entire campus is CCTV enabled and each classroom is technologically fitted with a smartboard. The classrooms are welcoming, airy and full of natural light.

“The goal of early childhood education should be to activate the child’s own natural desire to learn,” said Maria Montessori. The play-way method is followed by the pre-primary educators to make learning fun. The educators undergo a rigorous process of recruitment and regular in-house training that not only hones their skills but also keeps them updated with the latest research in pedagogy.

DPS Lava pre-primary branch at Civil Lines has started the admissions for Play Group, Nursery, KG-1 and KG-2.
