To provide better opportunities for students in their research works, quality training and self-employment, Rani Durgavati University (RDU) has signed an MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) with Directorate Weed Research. The signed MoU was exchanged between Vice-chancellor, Rani Durgavati University, Professor Kapil Deo Mishra and Director, Directorate Weed Science, Dr J S Mishra in presence of other concerned officers. Sharing further details, Vice-chancellor, RDU, Professor Mishra informed that the MoU has been signed to ensure further facilities and support the students and research scholars pursuing their studies in the University, in their research projects and self-employment by imparting skill training and other facilities. Along with significant guidance from the expert scientists available to the students and research followers, the MoU will also pave way for eradication of weeds.
Director, Weed Research, Dr. Mishra informed that through this agreement, the students will collect knowledge how to utilize the useless weeds. The institute will train the students how to make vermin-compost and produce bio-gas from weeds to ensure self-employment. Other officers who present during exchange of MoU included Dr. PK Singh and Dr. Basant Mishra from Directorate Weed Research and Professor Surendra Singh, Director, University Skill Development Institute, and Dr. Ajay Mishra.
