MUHS V-C Lt Gen Dr Kanitkar on two-day city tour from Mar 28

 

 

 

LIEUTENANT General Dr Madhuri Kanitkar, PVSM, AVSM, Vice-Chancellor ( V-C) of Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) is arriving in Nagpur on March 28. It will be her first visit to the city after assuming the charge as the V-C in July 2021. After a dedicated tenure in defence, Dr Kanitkar contributed a lot during COVID-19 pandemic. She has a hectic schedule in city. She will be the chief guest for state-level conference of dental students, organised by Government Dental College and Hospital (GDCH) beginning on March 28. She will interact with the faculty of GDCH.

 

On the day of arrival, Dr Kanitkar will go to National Cancer Institute where she will visit different departments andhave a meeting with the Boardof Directors. The same day, a uniqueprogramme has been organisedin the evening where shewill be having an interaction with the ViceChancellors of other universities of the region. On March 29, Dr Kanitkar will visit NKPSalve Institute of Medical Sciences and inauguratethe MUHS workshop onResearch Methodology.

 

After the visit of NKPSIMS, Dr Kanitkar will review Regional Centre of MUHS situated at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH). In the auditorium of GDCH, a felicitation of Dr Kanitkar has been organised byDr Sanjeev Chaudhary, Regional Director of Regional Centre on behalfof all Deans, Heads of the institutions affiliated to MUHS. Dr Kanitkar will leave for Pune the same evening.
