There is a ray of hope for regularisation of contract employees in power companies in Madhya Pradesh. Hearing the petition of MPEB Takneeki Karmachari Sangh, Justice Vivek Agrawal sent notice to Chief Secretary (Energy) and Managing Director of MP Poorva Kshetra Vidyut Vitran Company for responding into the matter in four weeks. Besides this, replying to a letter, President of India and Prime Minister, on March 7, sent letter to Principal Secretary of Madhya Pradesh and directed for replying to the Association”, informed Harendra Shrivastava, Regional General Secretary, MPEB Takneeki Karmchari Sangh while addressing a press conference, on Sunday.
Shrivastava added that demanding the amendments in service conditions of contractual employees, he had filed a petition before the court through Advocate Abhilash Dey. Hearing the petition, the court of Justice Vivek Agrawal sent notices CS (Energy) and MD, Poorva Kshetra Vidyut Vitran Company Limited for replying within 4-weeks. He had also sent letters to the President of India and PMO and mentioned the commitment of the State Government for
regularization of contract workers in power companies. MPEB Takneeki Karmachari Sangh’s KN Lokhande, SK Morya, Rajkumar Saini, Mohan Dubey, Ajay Kashyap, Arun Malviya, Lakhan Singh Rajput and others have expressed hope that positive action of the court, President of India and PMO brought a ray of hope for regularization of contractual employees in power companies.
