Hindu Seva Parishad members take out ‘Gada Yatra’ in city

Celebrating the beginning of Hindu New Year and foundation day of Hindu Seva Parishad, the Parishad members took out a mega ‘Gada Yatra’ on Thursday. The religious procession was taken out after performing rituals and worshipping Lord Hanuman at Naudra Bridge Hanuman Temple.
The procession of 25-feet-long symbolic 'Gada' commenced from Karamchand Chowk and went through different parts of the city including Tularam Chowk, Andherdeo, Bada Fuhara, Malviya Chowk, Teen Patti Square and ended up at Manas Bhavan Wright Town.
Hindu Seva Parishad, State President, Atul Jeswani informed that in this mega historic procession, thousands of devotees participated and celebrated the Hindu New Year with religious fervour. Further, the devotees also danced on drumbeats and chanted slogans of lord Hanuman during the procession.
Saints graced the religious procession included Jagatguru Raghavdevacharya, Swami Akhileshwaranand Giri, Dr. Swami Mukunddas, Mahant Ramdas, Dr. Swami Narsinghdas, Sadhavi Gyaneshwari Didi, Aacharya Dheerendra Pandey, Brahmachari Chaityanand, Swami Paglanand and others.
Later in the event, a religious meeting was also organised at Manas Bhavan where saints shared their views. Chief guest on the occasion was activist from Kashmir, national thinker, Lalit Ambardar while National President of Shri Ram Sena, Promod Mutalik, Hindi
Ecosystem Founder, Kapil Mishra, Hindu Janjagriti Samiti Pracharak, Abhay Vartak were invited as special guests. National Thinker Lait Ambardar in his address shared views on returning of Kashmiri Hindus back to their homes. Special guest Promod Mutalik raised his voice against Love Jihaad. Kapil Mishra threw light on Hindu sentiments while Abhay Vartak in his address listed number of Hindus still struggling for their survival as minority in several states of India. The programme concluded with chanting hymns of Lord Ram. Hindu Sewa Parishad, State President, Atul Jeswani extended gratitude towards devotees for rendering their support in this mega procession.
