Shree Singaji Unit One sets new record of continuous power generation for 150 days

Unit Number One of the 600 megawatt installed capacity of Shree Singaji Thermal Power Project Donglia (Khandwa) of Madhya Pradesh Power Generating Company has made a new record of generating electricity continuously for 150 days.
This unit is generating uninterrupted power from last October 19, 2021, till date. The Plant Load Factor (PLF) of the unit stood at 70.4 per cent during this period. This unit is continuously functional for 215 days without any force outage except for one reserve shutdown after annual maintenance. It is noteworthy that this unit of Shree Singaji Thermal Power Project became functional on February 1, 2014. Energy Minister Pradyuman Singh Tomar has expressed happiness over the record of 150 days of continuous power generation by unit number one of Shree Singaji Thermal Power Project.
Congratulating the engineers and personnel of the project, he expressed hope that in future also the project will continue to set new records of electricity generation.
