NTPC conducts various CSR activities in FY21-22

NTPC Mouda has carried out various social activities for the upliftment of the local people residing in nearby villages under its social corporate responsibility (CSR) initiative in the financial year 2021-22, according to Hari Prasad Joshi, Chief General Manager, NTPC Mouda while speaking at a press conference on March 30, 2022.
In the meeting, the employees of NTPC Mouda showcased important works done for community development and conservation of the environment. Under the CSR/CD policy of NTPC, facilities like boundary walls in Aanganwadi schools, community toilets and water ATMs have been provided to nearby villages.
Apart from this, a mobile health clinic is also being initiated by NTPC Mouda under which a medical van will visit the nearby villages. This van, which will run 6 days a week. It will have 2 doctors and a nurse present inside, who will examine the villagers. Under this campaign, special focus will be given to pregnant women and new-born babies, in which women will be continuously examined for more than 600 days.
Joshi said that the NTPC Mouda had spent Rs 48 crore on CSR activities in the financial year 2021-22. The funds were fully utilised during the years. In the month of April a new CSR budget allocation will be provided for the community development.
