CM announces 50 new Swami Atmanand Schools in CG

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has announced that 50 more new Swami Atmanand English Medium Schools will be started from new academic year in view of trend of large number of admissions in the Schools.
Chief Minister Baghel wrote on his Tweeter account, “In the new education session in the state from June 2022, 50 new Swami Atmanand English Medium Schools will be started. I would like to tell you all that in view of the trend of large number of admissions in Swami Atmanand English Medium Schools, it has been decided to start 50 new schools from June-2022 session. In the future, as many schools as needed, the State government will continue to be ready to start new English Medium Schools.”
It may be mentioned that Swami Atmanand English Medium School is a chain of English medium school established by Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel-led Congress government. It was established on November 1, 2020. The English Medium School is completely funded by Department of School Education, Government of Chhattisgarh.
Earlier, Chief Minster had announced to increase the number of seats for students from 40 to 50 in Swami Atmanand English Medium Schools in State.
Chief Minister Baghel said that now 50 students will be able to take admission in the classes of Swami Atmanand English Medium Schools in the state. Earlier, only 40 children used to get admission in the
Swami Atmanand English Medium Schools. Baghel said that he had taken this decision after seeing the demand and enthusiasm of the people for getting education for their wards in Swami Atmanand English Medium Schools. It may be mentioned that there are around 172 Government Swami Atmanand English Medium Schools in State.
