Nava Raipur-hit farmers will stage a big protest under Nayi Rajdhani Prabhavit Kisan Kalyan Samiti (NRPKKS) Nava Raipur in support of their demands at Nava Raipur, Atal Nagar on April 12.
Addressing a press conference at Raipur Press Club, NRPKKS Nava Raipur President Roopan Chandrakar said that the Nava Raipur-hit farmers would stage a big protest in support of their demands on the occasion of completion of 100th day of the indefinite strike. A strategy will be chalked out to for the protest on April 5.
62 social organisations have extended their support to the Nava Raipur farmers’ protest so far, Chandrakar added. Chandrakar alleged that the State Government had not fulfilled the demands of the farmers so far.
Virendra Pandey, Alok Shukla and others were also present at the press conference. Indefinite strike, launched by the new capital city-hit farmers, has entered 91th day at Nava Raipur Atal Nagar Vikas Pradhikaran (NRANVP) premises in Atal Nagar on Sunday.
The farmers of 27 villages of Nava Raipur have been protesting under the banner of the Nayi Rajdhani Prabhavit Kisan Kalyan Samiti (NRPKKS) Nava Raipur in support of their various demands including compensation and rehabilitation.
