Dr Singh flays CM for expecting people to trust him

BJP National Vice-President and former Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh on Monday said that Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has done nothing for Khairagarh, but he still expects people of this constituency to trust him.
Dr Singh stated this while addressing a public rally at Bakaraktta in favour of BJP candidate for Khairagarh by-election Komal Janghel.
Congress is shying away from major promises like liquor ban and unemployment allowance, made in the manifesto in 2018 and now Chief Minister Baghel is trying to lure the people of Khairagarh, said Dr Singh.
Dr Singh said that Baghel, who has lost the trust of the people of the entire Chhattisgarh, expects people of Khairagarh to trust him for doing injustice with them. Congress people have come to Khairagarh as a merchant, but the Khairagarh will not sell their votes.
The people of Khairagarh have already rejected Bhupesh Baghel’s public manifesto. Dr Singh said that the report card of Chief Minister Baghel may be liked by Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi, but not the people of Khairagarh or Chhattisgarh. Dr Singh said that the Health Minister of the state admitted to funding the crisis for development of health facilities.
The public needs health facilities and farmers want their grain sold at a support price, but this government has no answer to all these problems.
Dr Singh said that what the BJP government has done is not visible to Bhupesh Baghel because he does not want to see, but the people of Khairagarh can see everything.
The BJP government gave free electricity to the farmers for irrigation, gave food grains to the weaker sections at Re 1 per kg. To get rid of malnutrition, nutritious food grains were given. The farmers from whom the Congress government used to take 16 percent interest, the BJP government brought it to zero. The BJP government bought all the paddy of the farmers and now every year Bhupesh Baghel makes excuses to avoid buying paddy. The development that the BJP has done, the Congress has not done in fifty years, Dr Singh said. Now for three years the development of Chhattisgarh has come to a standstill.
