Late Satyendra Pathak, former minister, was very popular among the locals as he was always ready to help them in time of need. Locals still remember the help which he had extended to the needy, poor and ailing people.
His legacy is being carried forward by his son MLA, Vijayaraghavgarh Sanjay Satyendra Pathak. The Pathak family has always stood up with locals in each crisis situation, during corona crisis, MLA Pathak took all possible step to help the patients by arranging hospital beds, oxygen supply, ventilators, medicines and others. Since then MLA Sanjay Pathak is emphasising on arranging best medical treatment facilities for the locals.
In this series, he has taken up task of renovation and upgradation of the building situated at the District Hospital campus.
The bhoomipujan of this building was performed by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan in presence of Member of Parliament and State BJP President V D Sharma, MLA Sanjay Satyendra Pathak, PWD Minister Gopal Bhargava, District Incharge Minister Jagdish Devda, Nirmala Pathak, Former Mayor and sevral other dignitaries.
On the occasion, the Chief Minister announced for naming this building in memory of Pandit Satyendra Pathak.
MP Sharma said that on occassion of World Health Day and on birth anniversary of Pandit Satyendra Pathak, bhoomipujan of hospital
building is being done, in coming days, this hospital would give treatment to lakhs of people. MLA Sanjay Pathak welcomed the guests. He remembered the values taught by his late father and grandfather due to which he is making attempt to do something for needy, poors, ailing ones.
MLA Pathak expressed his determination to transform this old building situated at district hospital campus into well equipped hospital in memory of his late father. He thanked Chief Minister Chauhan for extending him full cooperation in achieveing this task. He informed about construction of first floor of government hospital at Vijayaraghavgarh and trauma centre at Barhi. He informed that kitchen being run at district hospital for patients would be continued till life long.
This would be real tribute to his father.
Nirmala Pathak, wife of Late Satyendra Pathak also remembered the welfare activities conducted by her late husband and thanked the guests for gracing this event.
