YCCE 1st engg institution in Maha to get highest NAAC score of 3.6 with A++ Grade

YESHWANTRAO Chavan College of Engineering (YCCE), Nagpur has been awarded the ‘A++’ Grade with CGPA of 3.60 score on a 4-point scale by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), India for Cycle II.
YCCE is the first engineering institute in Maharashtra to receive the highest score of 3.6 with A++ Grade.
It is a matter of great pride for the institute to receive the best rating from NAAC. This is a historic and golden moment of the institute which has a bright and historic tradition of knowledge and enlightenment, will benefit all the stakeholders. The NAAC Peer Team under the Chairperson Dr Shorosimohan Dan, Vice Chancellor, Dakshina Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha, an institute of national importance, Chennai, visited the institute on May 13 and 14, 2022.
The NAAC evaluates the institutions for its conformance to the standards of quality in terms of its performance related to the educational processes and outcomes like curriculum, teaching, learning, feedback system, infrastructure and learning resources, research, innovations, extension activities, governance, leadership, institutional values and best practices.
The NAAC grade instils great confidence among all stakeholders of the institute including students, their parents, faculty and all involved. A++ Grade opens many possibilities under the National Education Policy 2020 and creates new avenues for the institute.
The Management of the Institute, Principal Dr UP Waghe and Dr A R Bhagat Patil, Director, IQAC and Dean (P&D) congratulated all the stakeholders for the historic achievement.
